Cultivating Major Change

We have wide experience of creating major change and transformation programmes with a range of organisations. The elements in such programmes can include: diagnostic and review processes, facilitated groups, skills training, and coaching

We help organisations step back and take a different view, using concepts of natural growth and cultivation. Skills for resilience and wellbeing enable clear strategic perspectives and the processes to fulfil them. Understanding the nature of the challenges ahead and cultivating the leadership skills to meet them is part of this. We are passionate about change initiatives where people thrive, not just survive, and where human resources are renewed not depleted.

The aims and focus may vary widely, but often a useful catalytic question is: how can we evolve to meet the needs of all our stakeholders, in terms of vision, strategy, culture and operations? Our approach involves co-creating the aims and programme with the client, so that fresh insights and learning are included as they arise. We draw on natural systems and other approaches as models of resilience and change, and advocate some use of offsite groups in natural settings to open up new perspectives.

Top-down and bottom-up approaches both have their place, and we can include both. A key aim is to enable an organisation to connect to its passion and potential, through aims and language which everyone can engage with, and to grow the skills and culture to fulfil this: meeting the needs of the organisation and the individuals and teams within it. We create a network of mutual learning that includes our clients, our team and our network of partners

Understanding the nature of the challenges ahead and cultivating the leadership skills to meet them is part of this. Skills for wellbeing and resilience are a key enabler of clear perspectives and the processes to fulfil them.
