On Monday 19th of June we officially launched the 'Nourishing the Frontline 2017/18' - programme with the Taster Day at Hazel Hill Wood. The day was an opportunity for participants to experience our pioneering natural systems approach to wellbeing, mindfulness and other resilience techniques, meet the Wisdom Tree team and explore the wood, as an integral part of the overall programme itself.
We gave a flavour of the different themed days of our programme, with a variety of facilitated sessions to experience a range ofactivities, processes and approaches that will be used in the coming workshops. Some of the participants who came as representatives of frontline organisations also used the opportunity to discuss the potential for a bespoke day for their team which we offer (thanks to BLF Awards for All funding that we received) free at the point of delivery.
We concluded with a discussion about the general needs of frontline workers and asked participants what they would like to see included in our programme to support the frontline in their different roles.
